Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe insists Amakhosi have done their homework and are ready to tackle Royal AM as the two sides prepare to lock horns over the weekend.

Kaizer Chiefs are looking to avoid a fourth straight defeat in the DStv Premiership and a fourth loss against Royal AM as well, when the two teams meet on Sunday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Chiefs midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe believes his side is well-prepared for the task at hand.

"We have watched them [Royal AM] and done our analysis on how they play, their style, formation, everything," the 30-year-old told the club's website.

Thwihli Thwahla have enjoyed a stronghold over Amakhosi, having beaten the Glamour Boys in each of the their three previous meetings.

This will be the second time the sides meet in a competitive fixture this season after Royal AM recorded a narrow 1-0 win in August, a match in which Sithebe made his Chiefs debut.

"When we played them earlier this season we were still building, with a lot of new players, but now I think we all know each other better and we will go into this game to try our best to get the three points," the midfielder added.

"We know them and we know how they play and we need to capitalise on their weaknesses."
