Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has issued a stern warning to opposition sides that come to the FNB Stadium.

Chiefs continued their bid to get their season back on track with a 2-1 win over SuperSport United over the weekend.

Chiefs had endured an underwhelming start to the season with losses against Royal AM Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City, but the win against Matsatsantsa has elevated them back to the top ten in the DStv Premiership table.

For their struggles this season, Amakhosi are yet to taste at defeat home after four matches.

Before the SuperSport win, the Glamour Boys hammered Maritzburg United 3-0 in their first home game, collected a hard-fought three points over Richards Bay and a point against AmaZulu.

Zwane has revealed that it’s always been his side's intention to turn their home turf into a fortress.

"We are not saying we are going to win all the games, but we have to make sure that when people come to FNB Stadium they’re coming to Kaizer Chiefs, and they are coming to drop points or to donate points.

"That’s where we should start, we are not going to fix everything at once, but we will take one step at a time," Zwane said.

With the international break currently underway, Amakhosi now turn their attention to the Macufe Cup – a friendly tournament to be played in Bloemfontein.

Zwane’s men will return to competitive action on the first weekend of October for the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final clash against AmaZulu.
