As earlier reported by KickOff.com, Sheppard and Zwane have been roped in as new coach Gavin Hunt's two assistants with Chiefs' senior team.
'Sheppy' reunites with Hunt after the pair worked together at Bidvest Wits prior to their recent status sale, with the former Bafana Bafana international having also led the club's reserve team in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge.
Meanwhile, '10111' also graduates from Amakhosi's reserve team where he had been grooming several young stars for the first team, and will now gain further coaching experience alongside the four-time league winner.
“We believe we have put a solid technical team together and we will give them all the necessary support they require,” chairman Kaizer Motaung told the club's website.
“The wealth of experience among the three gentlemen is what we need to ensure we compete and build a strong team."
Motaung further explained that both assistants will not lose their hand in development and will play a role in the club's youth structures over and above serving with the first-team.
“The fact that Arthur and Dillon will concurrently work with the senior team as well as with our reserve side means that the transition for the young players to the first team squad will be easier,” Motaung explained.
"We have an abundance of talent. However, they will need nurturing while we also need to focus on winning. Both assistant coaches have youth football experience and we believe they will continue to share their knowledge with our other youth coaches and players.”
