Things did not work out for the former Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits midfielder when he tried his luck at Chippa United in January, so he’s still on the market. Myeni left the Clever Boys at the end of last season and his search for a club has been extended following his failure to win a contract at Chippa. At 30, Myeni still has a lot to offer.

The former Ajax Cape Town midfielder has been on the market since his contract with the Urban Warriors expired at the end of last season. He was sidelined when he refused to sign a new contract with the Cape side and things have just not gone well for him.

After leaving Cape Town City, Gumede was linked with moves to Kaizer Chiefs and Highlands Park, but has not been able to find a club since then. He’s a quality defender who can offer clubs a lot in defence.

The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has recently been trying his luck with Highlands Park and the club will be able to sign him after the window has closed if they are impressed with him. It’s been a difficult last few years for the player, and Highlands coach Owen Da Gama could be looking to give him an opportunity to play in the top flight again.

Cutting of costs meant that Chippa United were forced to released players such as Shongwe, Thabo Nthethe and Thami Sangweni. The player who was once linked with a move to Orlando Pirates did not have the best of times at the Chilli Boys and will be looking to find a club where he can redeem himself. He’s recently been linked with Highlands Park.
