Pirates have been in search of attacking reinforcements after allowing DR Congo international Jean-Marc Makusu to leave after the expiry of his loan spell with AS Vita Club.

Zakhele Lepasa and Tshegofatso Mabasa's injuries left Gabadihno Mhango as the only recognised striker available heading into the new campaign.

The Buccaneers have now seemed to have addressed their lack of numbers up front by securing one of the rising talents in Africa.

The physically imposing 20-year-old arrived in Johannesburg this weekend with the club's sporting director Nana Amankwah to finalise the deal after the player was scouted during his breakout season in Ghana.

KickOff understands the player underwent a medical on Monday and will officially sign his contract with the Sea Robbers on Wednesday.

It's believed the player who scored 12 goals in 32 league games last season has been offered a three-year deal to join the Soweto giants.
