Vuyani Ntanga and Lee Langeveldt were also introduced int he second half as Golden Arrows had much of the play.
The only goal of the game was scored midway through the second half as Quincy Ngcobo beat a defender and squared for Joostse to fire home.
Golden Arrows will now play the local Uthukela side in the final at 15h30.Stars play for the bronze medal against Ukhahlambo.
