“This is the second time I’m involved with Carling Black Label Champion Cup and it’s always an honour to be involved with such activations,” said Dj Cleo, an avid Orlando Pirates fan.

Dj Cleo went on to underline why he thinks his beloved team will do well, stating that under new coach Muhsin Ertugral Pirates will be a force this season.

“Muhsin believes in young players, Muhsin believes in a small squad, so I’m very excited about this season. So Pirates is definitely taking it (Carling Black Label Champion Cup)! We are winning this one 3-1."

Naturally, Bucs legend Lekoelea agrees with Dj Cleo: “I know these derbies… we’ve seen a lot of 0-0 games and penalties, but this time I think Orlando Pirates will win 2-0.”

However, former Amakhosi midfielder Nkosi doesn’t think Pirates will take this year’s Cup and predicts a tight game.

“Derby games are very tough… whether it’s Carling Cup or a league game.  I think this time Kaizer Chiefs will win it because I know how much they want it," he said.

"I know that they are coming from a very, very tough season so they’ll want to make sure that they start the new season strong by winning the Carling Black Label Cup. So I’m going with a 1-0 win.”

Dj Tira, who is a Kaizer Chiefs fan, loves the Carling Black Label Champion Cup and is happy to be involved once again.

“This is the third time I’m involved with Carling Black Label… I’m loving it! I love Kaizer Chiefs! I love the whole idea around the competition… and getting people involved around selection players. It’s a cool competition and it’s a cool idea… so I’m supporting it,” said Dj Tira.

"So on the 30th we have to win! I don’t want to win ngama-penalties. I’m hoping that we just beat them 2-0… a clean 2-0. One goal by (Bernard) Parker and another goal by William Twala… case closed!”
