On Monday it was confirmed the Bidvest Wits midfielder had joined Cristiano Ronaldo's club on loan for the season with an option to buy.
Jordan, the son of the late Bafana Bafana striker Keryn, is naturally excited with the opportunity.
"For any South African player it is a dream to play in Europe," the 18-year-old told Sporting's website.
"To do it at Sporting CP is a great achievement and I’m now preparing myself to do my best and help the club in any way that I can.
