Arrows are set to promote Ncikazi following Steve Komphela's departure to join Mamelodi Sundowns, as revealed by this website on Sunday.

Komphela has confirmed his exit from Abafana Bes'thende to join Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena as a 'senior coach' in an assistant capacity at Chloorkop.

"Khenyeza is back at Arrows, he will join Ncikazi as an assistant coach," a source close to Khenyeza informs KickOff.com.

Arrows and Galaxy officials could not be reached for comment.

Khenyeza, who was a top player for Arrows during his playing days, began his coaching career at Maritzburg United assisting Muhsin Ertugral.

The prolific former striker then took up the same role at AmaZulu before his surprise resignation last year to join TS Galaxy as head coach in the GladAfrica Championship.

Khenyeza was set to become Galaxy's MultiChoice Diski Challenge coach this season after the club bought Highlands Park's status and re-appointed Dan Maselesa.
