
Galaxy have been in talks with Malesela to bring him back to the club where he won the 2019 Nedbank Cup, with a deal understood to be close.
Current head coach Mabhuti Khenyeza is therefore set to take charge of The Rockets' MultiChoice Diski Challenge team next season, according to insiders at the club.
Owner Tim Sukazi is known to be appreciate of Khenyeza's efforts and will therefore keep him at the club in another capacity rather than let him go.
Meanwhile, Galaxy are preparing to sign former Maritzburg United midfielder Justice Figuareido, who is a free agent after recently parting ways with Eric Tinkler's side.
The Swazi international spent last season on loan with GladAfrica Championship side Mbombela United, who have been relegated via the boardroom for fielding an ineligible player.
The former Denver Sundowns midfielder is now reported to be on his way to join Galaxy, who are set to play in the PSL next season after buying the status of Highlands Park.
