Dan Malesela claims that Marumo Gallants' announcement to not renew his contract has caught him by surprise as the club failed to communicate their decision with him directly.
The Limpopo club announced through an official statement their decision to not renew the "Dan Dance's" stay at the club following his one season at the helm.
Although the news came as a surprise to Malesela, the 56-year-old said he respects the club's decision.
"To be honest, I'm just hearing from various people the news, but I don't know where the decision comes from," Malesela tells KickOff.

"I don't know if it's from the side of the club that they are not renewing or anything.
"But Marumo Gallants haven't spoken to me yet, so I don't know.
"We haven't even completed talks about financial issues and all that.
"I was still going to meet the chairman...I'm still going to meet the chairman even now.
"I'm supposed to meet the chairman, I'm just waiting for him to tell me when.
"I'm not going to be disappointed, I've done my job with the club so I don't have to prove anything to them or anybody.
"If people feel the way they do, that's their thing, maybe they know better you know."
During his time at the club, Malesela guided the club to the Nedbank Cup final where they eventually lost out to Mamelodi Sundowns.
