Goals from Ntandoyenkosi Ngubane, Hlompho Kekana, Leonardo Castro and Eric Ntlaba were sufficient to see 'Downs lift the trophy.

After the break Billiant's endeavour earned him a third assist as he set up Eric Ntlaba to give Sundowns a two goal cushion in the 52nd minute.
