Sundowns returned to winning ways as they beat SuperSport 2-1 in the Tshwane derby at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.
Themba Zwane and Thapelo Morena scored the goals for The Brazilians while Dean Furman netted the goal for Matsatsantsa.
The victory comes a few days after Sundowns dropped five crucial points against Wits and Pirates.
"These are big teams that we have been playing. It's okay to draw, lose and win," said Mosimane.
"I mean to win against SuperSport is not easy. If it's easy, who says it's easy? To go and lose to Pirates, it was my first since I have been coach at Sundowns to lose at Orlando Stadium.
"But there's always a first time, something has to happen. I am not angry about that loss because we did well. Every ball that hit the post came out and never went in. We have to accept the loss there.
"But these are big teams. There is no team in the PSL that plays Pirates, Wits and SuperSport and says you can go and win. No, it's not like that.
"We respect SuperSport United and it was a derby. It was good for people and you can hear the noise. It was bragging rights and I am happy we got the bragging rights back."
Sundowns are expected to leave the country on Tuesday for their next CAG Champions League match against Pedro de Luanda in Angola this weekend.
