KickOff.com has learnt that Mamelodi Sundowns are leading the race to sign Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori for next season.
Ofori, who has had an outstanding season with Maritzburg United, is also on the wanted-list of Orlando Pirates.
However, the Brazilians appear to be in pole position to secure the signature of the Black Stars' number one keeper.
According to reliable sources, Ofori wants to play CAF Champions League football next season.
"There are only two teams in South Africa that are chasing Ofori. He will be playing for either Pirates or Sundowns next season," the source tells KickOff.com.
"At this moment Sundowns are leading the race to sign the Black Stars goalkeeper."
Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane recently revealed his team has already signed three players for next season.
