Ajax are prepared to listen to what Sundowns are willing to put on the table for the 18-year-old defender.

Urban Warriors coach Roger de Sa says the club won't stand in the Magqwaka’s way if he wants to leave but is still waiting on Sundowns to put down an official offer.

"Aya wanted to go to Sundowns, he had a lot of contact from Sundowns wanting him, and we have spoken to Sundowns about him," confirms De Sa.

"Sundowns approached us and we said let us know what you want to do … do you want to buy him or swap him? But it’s up to Sundowns now.

"We won't stand in his way and we are waiting on their side. It’s a lot of talks and nothing on paper."

Currently the Amajita captain is still training with Ajax at Ikamva and is expected to travel with the team to George for their pre-season camp.
