Angelo Tsichlas takes up advisory role at Royal Eagles

accreditation

Tsichlas was introduced to the team on Tuesday and takes up his new job with immediate effect.

This website has confirmation from the Tsichlas family that Angelo is already with the KwaZulu-Natal club.

“Angelo was asked to help in a capacity similar to the one that he had at Sundowns and is already with the club," a Tsichlas family member tells us exclusively.

"On Tuesday he was at the club’s base to assess it since he didn’t know so much about the club before. From what he has now seen he has been impressed.

"Remember he is a professor in this game and has the ability to bring stability.”

His role will involve advising on technical and administrative aspects of the game at the club which is owned by the Mpisane family.

Tsichlas left Mamelodi Sundowns last year in August after returning to The Brazilians as the chief technical advisor for a period of one year.

He had previously been a coach and then co-owner at Sundowns, along with his wife Natasha and late club president Abe Krok.
