Decorated captain Hlompho Kekana will hold discussions with the Mamelodi Sundowns hierarchy on a potential future role at the club.
Sundowns paid tribute to their former captain during the 1-0 win over AmaZulu in Sunday's DStv Premiership clash.
"Well, I must say when I left the club, the opportunity was always there for me to be part of the club," Kekana said.
"I will speak to the club owners to check if the opportunity is still as I left around a year ago.
"If it is still there, wow I will be very lucky as a guy from the village if the offer hasn’t expired.
"It is something I am working on as a person.
"I have been working with many coaches who have inspired me to be the player I was and the person I am.
"There are so many things I learnt in my career, and one of them is to lead players and people.
"I was fortunate to be given that opportunity to lead, and I would love one day lead the younger ones at a very young age.
"To let them know that the game we love is so fragile, and at the same time it’s a game that nobody can predict.
"I couldn't have predicted that I would be nominated for a FIFA award twice."
