Mudau was named as Man of the Match after his outstanding performance in the most recent DStv Premiership win over Golden Arrows on Wednesday.
"It’s funny that when he was coming off the pitch myself and coach Wendell Robinson said that he was probably the Man of the Match because he had an outstanding performance on the day", Mngqithi said.
"He is growing in leaps and bounds.
"We are happy as a group because we want this competition between him and Thapelo Morena to stay strong.
"It's good for us to always have two people who can always give a good account of themselves and we are happy now that Mudau is coming up and hopefully he can be a little bit more consistent with his performances because it is going to help us a lot."
The Brazilians are set to turn their attentions back to the CAF Champions League on Sunday when they host Congolese side AS Maniema at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
