Maritzburg have parted way with previous sponsors Umbro, and Kadodia explains the new "partnership" with Puma, which will see the club's regalia on sale to their fans.
"Puma is our partners now and it is not a sponsorship," Kadodia tells KickOff.com. "Puma are our partners and they will be selling our stuff [in stores]."
"Basically, Umbro was a little difficult for us and we decided to part ways because they wanted us to buy everything for our uniform," he concluded.
The Team of Choice managed to retain their PSL status with a last-gasp victory over Jomo Cosmos on the final day of last season.
Puma, who is dominating sponsorship on the African continent, have also joined forces with reigning Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns, whose new kit is set to be launched this month.
