Matthews comments on Kekana to SuperSport rumour

Kekana is currently available as a free agent and can join a club of his choice after recently being deemed surplus to requirements by former club Mamelodi Sundowns.

Matthews has now though poured cold water on reports that the player is in talks to join his former club.

In 2020 Matsatsantsa was believed to be close to snatching Kekana from their Tshwane rivals before deciding to renew his contract at Sundowns.

AmaZulu boss Sandile Zungu also recently disclosed to this publication that his club would not be signing the former Bafana Bafana international.

It now remains to be seen what the next step is for the veteran midfielder who ruled out any plans to retire from the game.
