Maritzburg United have confirmed the surprise exit of star midfielder Miguel Timm after an impressive 2019/20 season in the Absa Premiership.
Timm, 28, formed an impressive partnership with Keagan Buchanan in Eric Tinkler's midfield after the departures of Siphesihle Ndlovu and Fortune Makaringe to Orlando Pirates.
His composed displays which earned him the nickname 'Mr Calm' was integral to the Team Of Choice seventh-placed finish as an ever-present figure in the starting XI.
After 42 games in all competitions since his mid-season arrival from Chippa United in January 2019, Timm will now be moving on and will surely not short of potential suitors.

The player himself also penned an emotional farewell on social media which was well received by his former teammates who paid respect for his huge influence during the past season.
Since making his professional breakthrough with the now-defunct Bidvest Wits in 2011, Timm has featured for Mpumalanga Black Aces, Pheonix Rising in the United States and the Chilli Boys before his recent stint in KZN.
