While still at Leopards the Botswana international signed a pre-contract with Bidvest Wits, unaware that the status of the Braamfontein-based side would be sold.

The 29-year-old left Lidoda Duvha earlier this month having not played a single match in the bio-bubble.

Now, according to Vhadau Vha Damani communications manager Tshidino Ndou, the club is in talks with the player as they might be willing to utilise his services next season.

"Ngele signed a pre-contract with Wits, so we are negotiating if we need to have him in the team," Ndou tells snl24.com/kickoff before being pressed further on whether the player is willing to stay with the club.

"That's still under discussion," Ndou replies. "He signed a pre-contract with Wits and as you know there are a couple of Wits players that we are negotiating with. So I can't say much about the Wits players because we are still negotiating with them."
