This website reported earlier today that Medic had been suspended by the Venda-based club.
However, club CEO Sello Chokoe has since revealed that a decision has now been taken to part ways with the coach.
Medic arrived in February this year and immediately turned the club's fortunes around as he qualified Vhadau Vha Damani for the promotion playoffs.
Chokoe has confirmed that Modic was sacked for what happened on 20 April 2019 against TS Sporting where he failed to field the required number of under-23 players, as per NFD rules.
'The Gloved One' was asked why it took close to six months to address the issue.
"We've just finished with the meeting, that's why you couldn't find me," Chokoe tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We terminated his contract because he was found guilty of misconduct. Remember in the game against TS Sporting where he remained with one under-23? We were building the investigation, and then we have completed, and then we had decided to charge him. Ja and then we found him guilty. That's why we terminated his contract with immediate effect.
"We had to do the investigation, we could not just jump into releasing a person. We were doing the investigation all this time. His assistant Phuthi Mohafe will be in charge of the team until we find a replacement for the coach."
