Ngezana mistakes 'part of football' - Zwane

Sundowns clinched a dominant 4-0 win at Loftus Versfeld Stadium as Ngezana committed individual errors which contributed to both the Brazilians' opening two goals.

The centre-back under-hit a backpass which Sundowns attacker Gaston Sirino latched onto to beat goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma to the ball to open the scoring.

Before Ngezana then committed a foul in the area that saw Peter Shalulile double Sundowns' lead from the penalty spot.

"Unfortunately, he was not himself," Zwane said post-match.

"He was not at his best and he had to commit that error that I think also killed his confidence.

"But these things do happen in football. I’m not going to kill him because of that.

"We'll try and help him to lift his spirits in training.

"Many other players are still going to commit such mistakes and we'll move on. We’ll get better with time.

"He mustn't worry about that, it's part of the game, we all make mistakes."
