Owner of newly promoted National First Division side JDR Stars, Nnditsheni Nemasisi, is following in the footsteps of Jomo Sono by continuing as both club boss and coach.
JDR were promoted to the NFD after winning the ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs held in the Western Cape recently.
The Gauteng-based side were crowned ABC Motsepe League champions and pocketed R1-million after beating Steenberg 1-0 in the final played at Erica Park last weekend.
Speaking in an interview with snl24.com/kickoff, Nemasisi says he will remain as the head coach of the club for their campaign in the NFD.
"I will remain as head coach," says the businessman based in Pretoria. "I am only looking for a second assistant to bolster the technical team and to strengthen our marketing team."
JDR are not the only club coached by its owner, with Jomo Cosmos also coached by owner Jomo Sono.
Meanwhile, Nemasisi revealed that his club has already lost a few players after they were scouted by PSL teams during the playoffs, with one reportedly already signing for AmaZulu.
