As first confirmed by snl24.com/kickoff in June, Pirates have confirmed the arrival of Hlatshwayo and Hotto following the status sale of Wits to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.

The Buccaneers have landed a long-time target in 'Tyson', who previously expressed his interest in joining his boyhood club but The Clever Boys were reluctant to release their skipper.

After six years with the Braamfontein-based outfit, the 30-year-old former Ajax Cape Town defender's dream move has come true.

Hotto, who clocked a personal best 2018/19 season with six goals and 16 assists in domestic competitions, will now get his chance on the big stage after a decent 2019/20 campaign.

The Namibia international is set to bring competition for the likes of Vincent Pule, Paseka Mako and Luvuyo Memela in attack, as the Soweto giants look to return amongst the contenders for silverware next season.
