Pirates face the MTN8 finalists with the intention to bounce back after their 2-0 defeat to league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns last week.

The Citizens, albeit with a game in hand, have endured a sluggish start to the league campaign under Eric Tinker with just one win from their opening four fixtures.

While Pirates will be wearing of their former head coach and his attack-minded outfit who smashed Swallows 4-0 this week they've hinted that one of their forward's could be deemed fit for the encounter.

"Terrence Dzvukamanja, who was withdrawn in the first half against Sundowns after picking up a knock. He remains doubtful for the clash on Saturday," read the statement on the club's website.

Ghana international goalkeeper Richard Ofori who's been out for their last three games has also been confirmed 'on the road to recovery' and will likely be in contention for a starting eleven spot after the FIFA international break.

Zakhele Lepasa and Thembinkosi Lorch remain long-term injury absentees for the Buccaneers who face City at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday (15h00).
