Orlando Pirates coach Rhulani Mokwena has done quite a bit of shuffling in his attempt to find a winning combination and has worked through 22 players in his squad thus far.

Pirates have endured a turbulent start to the 2019/20 campaign since the departure of Milutin Sredojevic after just three games.

Since then, Mokwena has stepped up from assistant coach into his first ever head coach role at the top tier and is experiencing a mixed bag of fortunes, with just two wins from eight games.

The budding tactician, who previously served as Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach, has emphasised his commitment to the cause by going through sleepless nights to stabilise the ship, which came in second the previous two seasons under Sredojevic.

Upon inspection, he has 69 percent of the 32-man squad at his disposal across various starting line-ups thus far, with only 10 players still waiting for their first start under him.

Mokwena has only named one unchanged starting line-up so far, which was consistent from their 2-1 win over Chippa United into the 4-3 defeat to Bidvest Wits.

His most changes from one match to another has been six, which occurred twice in his second game in charge against AmaZulu and recently against Stellenbosch in their Telkom Knockout Last 16 clash.

Based on the above gallery, the only area Mokwena has not found his favoured combinations is in attack, where two players have only played in 50 percent of the games.
