Bucs, with seven points, share second spot in Group A with AC Leopards - three points behind leaders Ahly, and three points ahead of bottom-placed Zamalek heading into their final pool match.
The top two sides will advance to the semi-finals of the competition.
"Despite having already qualified, I don’t think Al Ahly will come here to just fulfil the calendar," Klate told his club's official website.
"Remember that we ‘killed’ them (3-0 win) in Egypt and now they know the pressure is on us to also qualify. So they might just want to settle the score here. That is why I say it is going to be very interesting.
"This is the moment of truth - none can hide from it.
"We will be prepared. We play well under pressure and the fact that we are playing this last match at home, gives us hope."
The five-time Premier Soccer League winner believes his teammates have the experience to get the result.
"If you look at our team, there is none that lacks real experience in this competition," Klate said.
"Lennox (Bacela) joined us a few months back but he fits in really well and has helped us in the little success we have had so far.
"For me, there is a great balance in the team in terms of international experience.
"Myself and the guys are only thinking of one thing and that is a victory on Sunday. We have to beat them and I think if we apply ourselves correctly, nothing is stopping us," concluded Klate, who sat out Pirates' 1-0 victory over Polokwane City in the Premiership on Wednesday.
