Orlando Pirates star man Monnapule Saleng has revealed that highest ambition is to secure an overseas move.

In just eight appearances for the Buccaneers this season, Saleng has made himself one of the hottest properties in South African football.

The speedy winger has netted five goals for this team, including a brace to knockout Mamelodi Sundowns in the second semi-final leg of the MTN8, and striking a stunning free-kick to beat AmaZulu in the cup final, helping the Buccaneers clinch the 2022 MTN8.

The 24-year-old’s efforts have also earned him a call up to the national team and marks his return to national team after being part of South Africa COSAFA Cup winning squad in July last year.

During Bafana’s recent camp, the star revealed his ambitions to ply his trade on the international stage.

"My biggest dream is to play overseas," Saleng told SAFA.

"I want to play overseas and I want to be a regular in the national team.

"So I have to work to achieve my dreams, I still have to work hard."

Bafana’s clash against Mozambique scheduled for an 20:30 kick-off at the Mbombela Stadium in Polokwane. The away side is ranked 127 in the FIFA world rankings while Bafana occupies 67, the highest ranking the side has held since 2016.

After Mozambique, Broos’ men will begin preparations to face Angola on Sunday at the same venue.
