Orlando Pirates have been fined R50 000 for unlawfully watering their pitch before a DStv Premiership clash.
The Soweto giants were charged for unlawfully watering their pitch contrary to the regulations before their clash against Golden Arrows two weeks ago.
It was confirmed on Friday evening that the Buccaneers pleaded guilty to the charge.

Premier Soccer League prosecutor revealed Pirates were find monitory amount of R50 000, half of which is suspended for 12 months on condition that they do not commit the same offence.
Jose Riveiro's charges claimed a 3-1 victory over the KwaZulu-Natal outfit on the day, ending a run of three straight losses.
