Following a 4-0 hammering, AmaZulu head coach Ayanda Dlamini said he felt were on holiday mode and Riveiro has insisted that his side won't be falling for a similar trap and remain hungry to win despite despite the season being already wrapped up.
"If you have seen the players this week, if you had the opportunity to see them train this week. I can tell you on 100% that there's no room for that thought, that maybe they are extra-confident or relaxed," Riveiro told journalists.
"The rhythm this week [at training] was something crazy."
"They really want to win and they know because we already played Sekhukhune United two times this season. Once under Truter and the other one not."
"We collected zero points in Polokwane earlier this season and I can tell you that it was not a nice game, it was not."
"Then we had a recent experience in Orlando, where we had a lot of possession, a lot of attempts on the goal, not many shots on target and we couldn’t beat them. We needed those points.
"In this case case they know it. It’s a final. We will go into the final like we did earlier this season [in the MTN8]."
Kick-off is at 18:00.
