Orlando Pirates legend Siyabonga Sangweni commends the club for signing AmaZulu FC captain Makhehleni Makhaula.
Sangweni describes the bearded midfielder as a workaholic who will need his teammates' protection to survive.

"Experience is very vital in football, So according to me it's a good signing," Sangweni tells KickOff.
"Makhaula is a hard worker, yindoda efel'emntwini [you will never have it easy].
"When a situation demands the team to defend, he defends, when it's time to play the ball he plays.
"That's what I love about him. If it was up to me, I would give him the role of a defensive midfielder.
"I'd told him to sit back and protect the defenders. You let the ball do the talking and stay behind.
"He must keep the team in shape all the time.
"I don't know how the coaches are planning to use him, but he is a very good signing.
"We must not force him to play like his new teammates, that would be his downfall, let him do what he is good at.
"Because it's difficult to say if he is an Orlando Pirates type of coach or not.
"The only position that will suit him very well is for him to protect our midfield and defence.
"Pirates made good signings this season, it's just that sometimes our luck tends to desert us.
"I expect the Makhaula arrival to make us finish in a respectable position."
