Head coach Jose Riveiro was full of praise for Orlando Pirates’ second-half performance in a narrow win over a resilient SuperSport United on Saturday night.
Pirates strengthened their bid to qualify for the CAF Champions League with a 1-0 win over Matsatsantsa at Orlando Stadium.
Tapelo Xoki scored late from the penalty spot to hand the Buccaneers a win in a highly-contested tie.
"I think the second half was totally for Pirates, without discussion and [although] it was through a penalty, the winning goal could have even came earlier.
"I think we dominated quite well the last 30, 40 minutes of the second-half, which like I said, against a team like this, it talks a very well about Pirates' players.
"[I am] so happy with those secondary but important things that you need [in order] to win a game like this; concentration, commitment in the duels and all of these things.

Pirates are now up to 37 points, just two points behind SuperSport United who remain second on the log table.
However, Hunt will be feeling the pressure as fourth-placed Kaizer Chiefs also collected a vital 3-2 win over Maritzburg United and like Pirates, are now just two points behind SuperSport.
The Buccaneers will only return to league action on 1 April with an away clash against Richards Bay, following the international break.
