Pitso Mosimane assures transfer movement at Mamelodi Sundowns

Mosimane earlier hinted that Sundowns would be bringing in a prominent new signing that is well known to South Africans but did not play locally at the time.

Rumours then emerged that former Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona had popped up on The Brazilians’ radar, but the player has since opted to stay in Belgium as he joined K.A.S. Eupen from Anderlecht.

‘Jingles’ has since explained how he lost the 29-year-old Zimbabwe national team captain, but assures they are close to bringing in one of their targets for the key position up front.

“The signing is still there, it’s still hanging. Just be patient. There is movement, and we are moving,” Mosimane tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“Probably it will happen, you never know. But I think it looks positive. If it’s not, I’ll tell you – you know that I’ll tell you.

“I just need one guy to score goals. We play well, we push the ball well, Pitso [Mkhulise] is good; ‘Mshishi’ [Zwane] is good; Lebo [Maboe], Thapelo [Morena], ‘Vila’ [Sibusiso Vilakazi] – they are all good. I need somebody to score more – just one more guy who’s so shrewd.”
