Pitso Mosimane calls for VAR in the PSL, goal-line technology and prayer to stop Kaizer Chiefs benefiting from referees

Mosimane has created the headlines recently claiming Amakhosi have been getting the rub of the green when it comes to the decisions of match officials in recent matches.

The Phefeni Glamour Boys beat Sundowns 2-0 to stay on top of the log in Tshwane on Sunday, and Mosimane was left frustrated again after their first goal appeared to be offside.

Mosimane believes both SAFA and the PSL should introduce VAR and goal-line technology to solve some of the referees' mistakes that plague domestic football.

"First [they must introduce] spray. Secondly the goal-line technology. The third one is communication [headset]. Today [against Chiefs] there was communication. When we played AmaZulu there was no communication," said Mosimane.

"Then we go to VAR. Let's stroll. The fourth or fifth one, I don't know what it is. It's praying. We need a lot of praying when we play against this team that they must not benefit again."

Meanwhile, 'Jingles' hit out against the first assistant referee for the part he played during their loss to Chiefs in Tshwane.

"The assistant coach who was this side, I was very scared of him because when Kaizer Chiefs played against SuperSport United, [Daniel] Cardoso played a half-pass to the keeper, [Bradley] Grobler went for the keeper, they pulled Grobler down and there was a foul against him.

"It was this assistant referee this side. I told him not to do this again today [Sunday]. I know all of them and they come back," Mosimane added.
