Pitso Mosimane hails Themba Zwane for passing to Jose Ali Meza to score, says there is a brotherhood at Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has hailed midfielder Themba Zwane for his generosity towards Jose Ali Meza.

Zwane embodied the great spirit and teamwork amongst the players at Sundowns when he passed the ball for striker Jose Ali Meza to score the opening goal for The Brazilians in their 5-0 romp over AmaZulu.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder could easily have scored himself but instead decided to tee up Meza for his first domestic goal at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.

"So generous of Themba Zwane to give to Ali Meza because in the club we have been talking that Meza has been working hard and he needs a goal," said Mosimane.

"That shows brotherhood from Themba. It's unbelievable. He could have scored that goal. He needed to give him confidence. When you see that from teammates then you know you have a team.

"It's pure brotherhood because Meza has been struggling to score but he gave him [the ball to score]."
