Pitso Mosimane sends reminder to Kaizer Chiefs

Sundowns will play Bidvest Wits in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals after beating Highlands Park 1-0 courtesy of Keletso Makgalwa's 115th-minute goal on Saturday.

Before that Mosimane's side also took a giant step towards closing the gap between themselves and Kaizer Chiefs at the top of the Absa Premiership after beating Stellenbosch 1-0 in Cape Town last Wednesday.

The Brazilians now trail the Glamour Boys by four points and one game in hand, with nine matches remaining.

Chiefs have eight league matches left including what could be a title-decider on 15 April against Sundowns, provided the league is not suspended due to the coronavirus as expected.

"The league is decided in May guys. We should humble ourselves, keep calm and keep feet on the ground. The league is decided in May," said Mosimane.

"We are holding the trophy. We don't want it out of our cabinet. We're still seeing it. We still love it. We can't release it and we try to protect it."
