Fifth-placed Rise and Shine are only four points behind leaders Orlando Pirates in the race for the Absa Premiership title after a 3-1 victory over Black Leopards on Sunday.

But Vukusic refuses to get carried away.

"No we stay humble, we keep our target and we are going from game to game," Vukusic tells KickOff.com.

"Now we have a tough game at SuperSport [United this weekend] so it's not enough for us. You know it's five games left, mathematically the chance is there, but like I say, even yesterday was no easy game [against Leopards].

"I am happy that we won that game because it was derby you know, good atmosphere [with] fans. But you know it's not easy for us. Even Black Leopards they had that ball possession but we're producing enough chances, we scored three goals and we can be happy about that.

"Yesterday George [Chigova] played 100 games in the league and our target was to keep a clean sheet for him but okay, [more] important that we won that game. That finally we scored three goals and it's important that now we are there at the top, we draw positives from that.

"It's only five games [left] so we will see but we work all the time day to day. Now we have [more] stability in our game so I know until the end of the season we'll keep [working] on that.

"Okay mathematically it's there you know, but we just play to our potential and we will see what will come out from there. Don't expect that I tell you that we want to win the league because there are bigger teams.

"We are not the favourites but we try our best. We try our best and we will see what will come out from there."
