The Serbian coach is facing rumours that he will be fired this week after a few poor results of late, something he says he is not concerned about.
Nevertheless, Krmpotic has criticised the level of football in the PSL now compared to the days of Helman Mkhalele and the late Moshoeu, both of whom also played in Turkey.
"I worked in Congo, Zambia and in Botswana. This [PSL] is the best league in this area for me, not in Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt but in this area this is the best for organisation, stadiums, infrastructure you know, everything is very good," he said.
"But I've been following this league for long, before even I arrived here, because we had Helman Mkhalele and Shoes Moshoeu coming from South Africa playing in Turkey.
"That time this country had very good players but now South Africa doesn't have more players competing at a high level. This country had good players, the likes of Moshoeu and Benni McCarthy. This is my opinion."
The Rise and Shine coach feels the nation can have top administration but if the product on the field is not up to standard, we can just forget about doing well on the international stage.
"The good organisation and administration must be followed by good football on the field," he explained.
"You don't have young selections now, the standard is very, very down now. I think if South Africa can work on that, they can compete even in the world."
