PSL Chairman Irvin Khoza calls press conference

The League has come under plenty of scrutiny in recent days over the delay of the Disciplinary Committee hearing involving Mamelodi Sundowns and Wayne Arendse.

Amid plenty of criticism over the delay of nearly six months in handing down a verdict, which PSL prosecutor Nande Becker last week explained to, it is expected the Khoza could now look to set the record straight.

The chairman has called a press conference at the League's headquarters for Tuesday morning at 11h00, but details thereof have been withheld.

The last time an urgent press conference was called, The Iron Duke spoke out over the Independent Communication Authority of South Africa's plans to amend their broadcast legislations.

It could be, however, that Tuesday's public address will be an update on this particular matter.
