PSL postpones Ricardo Goss, Sameehg Doutie DC hearing

The PSL has postponed the disciplinary matter involving Bidvest Wits duo Ricardo Goss and Sameehg Doutie.

Doutie and Goss have been charged with assault and misconduct by the League following their altercation with match official Masixole Bambiso in a recent match.

The Clever Boys pair took issue with Bambiso after he awarded a penalty to Cape Town City during an Absa Premiership clash last month. The Citizens beat Wits 2-0 in that encounter.

Both players were initially scheduled to appear before the PSL Disciplinary Committee today.

"We had the Wits matter for tonight but it has been postponed," PSL prosecutor Nande Becker tells

"Wits requested postponement for two weeks. We will do it in March I think. Ja [they gave a reason] but I'm not going to be able to give it to you right now, I don't have it in front of me.

"I looked at the reasons and they were good reasons so yes, we've granted them the postponement."

The PSL handed a six-month ban to Cape Town City midfielder Mpho Makola for a similar incident last year, but that was reduced to a four-match suspension on appeal.
