Reason revealed for Kwinika booking

Sundowns ran out 4-0 winners over Chiefs in a convincing win in the DStv Premiership at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday.

"The player was cautioned for dissent, it had nothing to do with Ngezana," Ebrahim informs KickOff.

"Kwinika protested against the decision and the referee cautioned him for that.

"I don't know what he said to the referee, but the match report says dissent.

"So you see, it's important that when situations we don't understand happen we don't just jump to conclusions.

"Because most of the guys are saying the referee made a mistake.

"But they don't necessarily know that because we look at the incident and the incident is not a cautionable offence.

"He just pulled him down, he did not stop an attack because there was another defender behind him.

"So there had to be another reason for his caution."
