Orlando Pirates' exciting twins Simo and Simiso Bophela are in line for first-team promotion following their fine performances in the reserve league.
Simo and Simiso could help Pirates win their first MultiChoice Diski Challenge trophy if they win all their remaining games and Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns fumble.
Bucs are second behind Wits with 60 points after 28 games. The Students are sitting on top of the log with 64 points after the same number of games.
Head of youth Augusto Palacios believes the Bophela twins have the potential to follow the steps of James Monyane and Lyle Foster, who earned promotion to the first team.
"They came to the Augusto Palacios Apprentice Academy at the age of 13 years. They come from Soweto and I have a good relationship with the family," Palacios tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"They are very good players. They can create and score goals. They have great character and are physically strong. They have great potential to follow the good steps by Monyane and Lyle Foster.
"I don't want to put pressure on anyone but the opportunity is there. They need to keep working hard."
Mamelodi Sundowns have already promoted Promise Mkhuma to the senior team from their MDC side this season after handing him a five-year professional contract.
