Burkina Faso international Sogne Yacouba has broken his silence, speaking exclusively to snl24.com/kickoff since rumours emerged linking him with a move to Orlando Pirates.
Yacouba has been linked with Pirates since last year, with local reports suggesting he was set to join the club at the beginning of the current season.

The 28-year-old striker was then on the books of Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko, but has since become a free agent following the end of his contract last month.
Reports in Ghana have suggested that Zambian outfit ZESCO United are set to lure the player to their shores, with negotiations between the parties having been at an advanced stage.
However, this website has since reached Sogne himself to query whether he could be headed to South Africa now that he is eligible to join the club of his choice.

"After the [Covid-19] epidemic we will see the rest, but nothing is prevented for the moment," Yacouba responds to snl24.com/kickoff via text.
"I have an agent. After the epidemic I will see the situation in the clubs where I could play."
The Buccaneers' administrative officer Floyd Mbele has since confirmed earlier efforts to get the former Kotoko star on board their ship, but insists the interest has now died down.

"Ja, [Pirates wanted to sign him] a long time ago," Mbele tells this website, before commenting on whether interest could be reignited after the player became a free agent.
"No, I can't say that. I haven't kept tabs [on his situation]. No [we haven't been tracking him recently]. There was contact with his representatives last year."
