Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela is humbled by the praise given to him by Bloemfontein Celtic coach Lehlonoholo Seema.

Seema after their victory against Polokwane City last week praised Komphela for the foundation he left at the club, which made it much easier for the team to push through the pain of their boardroom challenges.

Komphela speaking at Princess Magogo Stadium after their victory against Free State Stars said he was humbled by the gesture from his colleague.

"Seema is a student of the game, always willing to learn from everyone. It is humbling to get such from him. Not only him but the whole team from players, Max and supporters we were a hell of a group of people together," Komphela said.

"We will never erase those memories, it's really humbling. Like I always say it's all about changing lives in football. I'm happy we worked well and made a huge impact to those players."

Komphela also believes Celtic will come out of those issues and prosper again with the support and love they have from the people of Free State.

"With everything they have in that team, they will come out from this and achieve more," Komphela insisted. "Right now it's not about what we did with Seema and other guys but it's about what they are doing now. They are still pushing though hardship, keeping the fire burning."
