Steve Komphela is not ruling out a reunion with any of the players he has worked with in the past, including Gustavo Paez after he was released by Kaizer Chiefs.
Responding to a message from Paez thanking him, as he was the one who brought him to Naturena when he was still in charge there, Komphela said he would reunite with the Venezuelan striker or any of his former players.
"I'm touched by his message. Paez and I would talk about almost everything, from their struggle in his country to football. Maybe that's why he felt closer with me than any other person," Komphela explained.
"To me football is a tool to drive certain objections in life. I'm all about changing lives and if the Almighty allows us to unite, let it be, he has a family to look after and I wish him all the best. He can't be a bad player overnight."
Komphela also made it clear that it's not only Paez he would work with again if given the opportunity.
"Any of the players I've worked with before, I still love them, I never fake my love for players even those we've released, the love will never die. I get into people's lives to leave a mark that's everlasting."
With the season coming to an end in two weeks, Komphela said Arrows will have a discussion to look at the season and then take a decision on movements of players.
