Notoane had great success coaching Sundowns' Multichoice Diski Challenge side last season and singled out star player Khayelihle Shozi for special praise.
Shozi was promoted to the first team last season but ended up going out on loan to SuperSport United, something Notoane believes he will have to do again in order to further his career.
"For the young boys it is very tough and Khaya is one of those that we will continue to look for game time somewhere else maybe in the PSL or NFD depending on the situation," Notoane tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Notoane said it appears likely that Shozi will once again go out on loan, with Sundowns' management currently assessing the situation.
"Look, the management is busy with that and it's not for me to comment about that as it is a first team issue," he added.
"But at the moment he's training with the first team, obviously if nothing comes up he is part of the team and we will concede based on what comes up.
"As I have said, it is very important for him to play and at this moment in time it's very difficult for him to compete equally because he had been in and out on loan as we know also playing in the MDC.
"He has been good prospect and good talent for us at Mamelodi Sundowns with the MDC group and I'm happy that he has shown his talent and ability. Hopefully he can attract interest from some PSL teams that will use his services while he is being developed."
Notoane is currently with the SA U-19 team for the annual Durban U-19 International Football Tournament as current coach Thabo Senong is in Brazil as part of the Olympic team's coaching staff.
