SuperSport United have completed the signing of striker Mamour Niang to bolster their squad for this season.

The Senegalese striker, believed to have signed a three-year contract with SuperSport, is a direct replacement for Thamsanqa Gabuza who is set to leave the Tshwane-based side before the end of this week to join Royal AM.

Last month, Niang arrived in South Africa for assessment with Matsatsantsa and did not waste time impressing Head Coach Gavin Hunt at training.

"Gabuza could be leaving before the end of this week,” SuperSport’s CEO Stan Mathews tells KickOff.com.

"We are set to unveil a Senegalese striker very soon", he added.

Meanwhile SuperSport have also decided to release Congolese midfielder Guily Manziba after only spending two seasons at the club. Manziba is set to join AmaZulu after reportedly agreeing to terms with the Durban-based outfit.
