Club chairman David Mogashoe is backing Swallows FC to get back to winning ways after enduring a challenging run of results in the league so far this season.

The Dube Birds are currently going through their worst run of results since being promoted to DStv Premiership last season by winning just a solitary game so far this campaign.

The Soweto based club recently placed head coach Brandon Truter on special leave after a poor run of results with pressure still mounting to turn around the club's fortunes.

"We are not in a good position on the log," Mogashoe tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"Yes it's a concern but we are not pressing any panic buttons.

"Every team goes through a bad spell, and the same thing is happening to teams even such as Manchester United.

"We are there for the coach and his technical team and the players and also to help boost their confidence.

"We are positive and confident that the team will start picking up points soon," he added.

Swallows next host Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs in a DStv Premiership encounter on 28 November.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
